Our primitive country wood signs are made from hand picked solid knotty pine lumber. The signs are routered along the edges with a ogee raised panel bit and are then sanded and painted. Next they are given a distressed look on the edges by lightly sanding and staining. The back has been routered for easy hanging (No sawtooth hangers to scratch your walls). Because our country wood signs are made by hand you can expect some variances with knots, color, finish, and wood. We do not seal our wood signs for outdoor use. Please use a wood sealer if you plan on hanging them in the outdoors. Our primitive wood signs are perfect for your country decor.
